I did run into an excellent agent in SJC... we were going to be delayed on SJC-SEA but saw there was space on SJC-PDX-SEA (started in TUS, continuing to ANC). It was a mx, and they had no hesitation in moving us. We cleared into F (OO E175 with lots of room) and agent even put us on the later 739 flight (no F, but beats the CRJ200).
