Tuesday's 3304 operated by Skywest SJC - TUS was a rather ... odd situation. When the plane hadn't landed by boarding time, we were informed that "They left early from Austin, but we don't know why they're circling San Jose!" Later, she announced from the boarding gate "They're in range and should be arriving (at the gate) soon." Almost immediately, as though choreographed, the first disembarking passengers appeared behind her to file into the concourse.
FA was disgusted at the circling information that had been falsely provided," We were delayed by strong headwinds - no circling!"
I'm assuming the clueless gate agent was Skywest, but as AS has mainline flights there wasn't going to assert it. Made everyone look bad.
Skywest F was nice though.
