Just had a stay this past Monday as the entire New York City's hotel availability was down to near nil. Fortunately, I was able to secure a reasonable rate for a night in the city.

In general, most of the folks' comments related to the room is accurate. It is small. I stayed at Hilton Time Square the week prior and the room size was at least twice of the Doubletree at this location. Beyond that, everything is pretty much standard as far as check-in, bag of water, cookies, and breakfast voucher for Diamond member. Room furniture looked like it came from IKEA, but at least it looked new.

Elevator is indeed slow in the morning. I was glad that I didn't accept a higher floor upgrade due my requirement for a king size bed (stayed @ 15th).

Other than that, this stay served my need although it was about additional 7 minutes walk to the customer from my previous week's stay @ Hilton Time Square as I had to head to uptown.
