I was one of them, as I fly frequently between NYC and SEA... and my tickets were almost always paid (not award, not upgrade) First. Key word: WAS. But a combination of dropping almost every partner that is useful to me, combined with the continued Horizon Air issues and the "give VX flyers the everything+kitchen sink, give AS loyalists nothing" has finally (as of this latest announcement) driven this 75k elsewhere. Of course, it helps that JetBlue has brought Mint (true premium TransCon) to NYC-SEA... and for around the same price as AS's not-transcon level First Class.
