I booked a DTW-LAX flight about a week out and there was no SU inventory to upgrade to C+. I think there were only a couple C+ seats left for sale. I usually don't book that close-in, so don't really have any other data points. It just seems a bit silly to go to all the effort of creating a C+ upgrade bucket if they didn't ever actually use it.
