And how about those bathrooms with windows to the main room? Those are popping up everywhere now. Even when frosted, if you turn on the light in there you can see the person's shape and hue squatting down on the toilet. I normally travel alone..but when I have a guest in the room this is awkward.
This is what the Hub hotel in my earlier post had. It also had these dumb motion and door sensors to turn the lights on and off.

Our typical mornings:

I wake up first and climb over my partner to get out of bed because the bed is surrounded on three sides by walls. Hit the touchpad 15-20 times in a vain attempt to turn a light on. Finally get a light on and take a shower. This wakes my partner up because of those glass walls. I get out; she gets in the shower. While she's in the shower I go downstairs to get coffee (because guess what, no coffee maker in the room). When I close the door the sensors believe everyone has left and turns all the room lights out while my partner is in the shower. The motion sensor in the bathroom can't see the shower, so she has to get all the way out to get the lights back on.
