Wasn't planning anything, but ailing in-laws (who were supposed to be arriving here in the Bay Area this weekend) have us traveling back to the UK and their home in the Lake District for Christmas now.
Could be worse I suppose, but I was rather looking forward to a Californian Christmas and not spending indecent amounts of money on air travel over the holidays. Was really hoping for a BA business class sale for the holidays, but couldn't risk waiting.
