I will be flying from Las Vegas to Heathrow on the 14th for a pre-Christmas visit to the UK to see my parents and to do a railtour, namely the Branchline Society's "The Grand Farewell" (basically celebrating ten years of Grand Central and commiserating the fact that their HSTs will be going out of service). I am then flying back to Las Vegas on Monday 18th - so a super short trip. Hopefully I may even see some snow. There's little chance of that in Las Vegas, unless I go to Mount Charleston of course!
