I wouldn't do that unless REALLY pressed for it.

Chinese airports aren't meant for this kind of "lounge use".

If you can't check your luggage through (which you can't in this scenario anyway), better to pick it up, get a cheap day room (instead of stored luggage) if you want to chill, relax there, and then head to checkin normally. MUCH less hassle.
