Mainline, dba US Air, codeshare......whatever. All these folks were travelling on USAir tickets:
2/91 LAX B737 34 Fatalities
3/92 LGA F-28 27 Fatalities
12/92 LGA B737 1 Fatality
7/94 CLT DC-9 37 Fatalities
9/94 PIT B737 132 Fatalities
1/03 CLT B1900 21 Fatalities
My point remains......I found it amusing you prefer USAir over AirTran because AirTran had a mishap.....once.
I said absolutely nothing good or bad about Air Tran/ValuJet. I've never flown them. US had a very bad string of accidents in the early 1990s; their record since then has been free of fatal accidents. I don't have all these facts off the top of my head either, but I did bother to check my facts on the NTSB website before posting, a practice you should have followed before blasting away an allegation about 5 crashes in the past 10 years that was flat-out wrong.
