While WestJet started as a LLC, it has transitioned more towards hybrid to full service carrier in recent times. As noted above about their upcoming 787 service, they are also launching a LCC carrier (named Swoop) in the 1st half of 2018. Swoop will focus on the LCC cost and service. WestJet is by no means a bad airline.
