I'm no WestJet fan boy but for my domestic flying I prefer WS to AC.

Unlike AC who want a staggering $4k to fly up front in a tired conventional F seat YYC-YYZ roundtrip, one can often upgrade to WS Plus 24 hrs out for $75. Plus is not F but significantly better than DL Comfort+.

WS has a large (and growing) network, friendly crew and staff for the most part, and a main cabin experience fairly similiar to that of most US network carriers. Flat beds and premium economy cabins are coming as they morph even more into a full service network carrier.

How exactly is it "scraping the bottom"? Do you mean the lack of DL Elite reciprocity? I'm sure that's coming with the JV down the road...
