CDG and other large EU airports may be difficult to navigate for someone who doesn't at least have basic English or French skills. I highly recommend checking the 'assistance required' box on her reservation then calling the airline to request a Vietnamese speaking escort.

Whenever possible I put my non-English/French/German speaking in-laws on OS, as transiting the much smaller Vienna airport is usually a breeze.
