I don't believe so. I believe if the connection is under 24 hours and bags are checked through to final destination, it can stay in the system overnight.

If I remember rightly, it will go into the long term baggage store at T5, then get pulled out the next day when they start loading the cans for your GLA flight.

I might be wrong, but I think it is the case as above.
