from the destinations I go on Vueling(bought under IB) I had no problem with lounge access in Milan(many times) and Amsterdam(a couple of times).
In Algiers no chance in spite trying to show the conditions to the lounge dragon. In Warsaw no lounges have an agreement with IB because the airline does not fly there so no lounge access(do not know if this has changed recently because my last trips to Poland have been on LX/LH).
The ideal would be that IB reminded continously their outstations about the rules and the local representatives to inform the corresponding lounges, but I doubt this is going to happen.
I dislike VY and try to avoid them as much as possible but to some destinations it is crazy to use another carrier.

Which lounge in Milan and AMS please? BA in AMS? Not convenient as it is in a different part of the airport to the usual VY gates right?
Likewise VY are far from being my favourite airline but being based near BCN we have little choice and if you want to try and get any meaningful status whatsoever flying sh in Europe then I think IB+ is the only way to go unless you get into flight connections which is just a waste of life.
