Free breakfast could be a significant enhancement to Platinum benefits but only if done properly.

Although I don't have direct experience do some other chains restrict this type of benefit to continental breakfast only?

Based on the usual Accor inconsistency I would fear that such a benefit would be open to hotel interpretation if not done properly i.e.: restricted to the card holder only not a second guest staying in the room, restricted to continental breakfast or a "Platinum member" breakfast only with no option to upgrade to full buffet without payment in full etc etc. I can simply imagine far too many hotels being creative in how they water down or remove such a benefit.

If done well it would be a great marketing tool for Accor Le Club otherwise it could open up a whole new line in discussion threads for this forum
