time I joined in...

Forgot my wallet at home on a short trip to IST last month - had a few lira, the hotel had my c/card details on file, and Uber works everywhere so managed okay without it.

Sunday night, heading to the airport again - wife says 'do you definitely have your passport and wallet?' for the fourth time, I assure her that I have and they are both in my jacket pocket, wave goodbye and head down the motorway. 30 miles later, lightbulb moment - 'but my jacket is still draped over the sofa at home' Call home, wife bundles kids into the car and we both do crazy speeds to meet at motorway services in the middle - I turn around and make it to T2, just. Very quiet security, when you make conformance by about 5 minutes to spare on the last flight out....
