We have only ever been refused lounge access at PLZ but had success multiple times at LHR (North) TXL & CPT. Have always asked and explained that we know we're entitled to access.
It a sense of entitlement like that which gives us parents a bad name

Now that all four of the LondonAndy clan have status it's not so much of an issue, but previously we've asked politely a few times, and understandably normally been declined, but sometimes allowed in if it's quiet.
