There are a lot of 757's. That's just the reality. FedEx was a late purchaser of them. If memory serves me correctly, Boeing desperately tried to get them to buy them towards the end of production. However, FedEx now has over 100 of them and they're the smallest plane they fly (mainline that is). I think most of UPS' were bought new and they're such low cycle that they'll last forever.
