I personally would not stay there again and would perhaps look to some of the Marriott or other options.
Before I booked the Westin, I checked the Marriott options (which would be better for me as Gold) but they're mostly Protea hotels, which didn't seem quite as nice. The only IHG option was a HIX, which didn't interest me. Since I was looking to use IHG/SPG/Marriott points, that left me with the Westin. I did know about the drought and closed swimming pools and baths don't concern me.
Hopefully it will be a nice, uneventful stay. :-)
