A little bit late to the conversation, seems like EWR/SFO is now dead for the 77W. I guess the aircraft are flying SFO-NRT-EWR-NRT-SFO now, so they're exclusively reserved for international routes.
I presume EWR-HKG will get the new 77W. This route seems to be weight restricted due to the smaller 772ER operating the route right now. I hope EWR-PEK also gets the 77W, as the current market between the U.S. and China seems very prospecting.
