I just got my tickets for a Star RTW RTW trip with 13 legs, going through Europe, India, Nepal, Thailand, Australia, New Zealand.

What I just noticed is that the part of the ticket that is labelled "Allow Wt Pcs Unckd" is blank. The ticketing agent said I would have no problem checking 2 bags of 70 lbs each, but I'm a little concerned that I might have some of the checkin folks on the international legs say I'm limited to 40 just out of habit.

Is it okay for those fields to not be filled in, and if so how would the person reading the ticket know I'm allowed 2 pcs, 70 lbs? My tickets are in five separately stapled groups, each with about 3-4 flights.

If they should be filled in, are there any magic words I should say to the ticket agent to make them do it? Besides "Please" :-)
