CX just started flying to PEK and plans to launch PVG in the spring. The PEK schedule doesn't link up with the transpac schedule very well (long layover) and methinks the PVG schedule will be similar, but there are worse places to stop over than HKG (you could probably get away without a long layover on the return because the eastbound t-pacs are spread out throughout the afternoon/evening versus all of the westbound flights that arrive at oh-dark thirty).
