I did not book my train ticket to Shanghai Hongqiao in advance. All trains were sold out until 8 pm today. I did suggest some stations very close to Hangzhou. It did not work. So, I took Subway Line #1 to Wulin Square (4 stops, 3 RMB) and took the shuttle bus to PVG. The ticket window is located at 392 Tiyucheng Road. I purchased a ticket for 110 RMB. The HGH shuttle buses parked just in front of the ticket window. A separate ticketing window for HGH shuttle is much bigger and has a resting room with toilet. The PVG bus parked on a small street. You walk out of the ticketing office and turn left and walk for 30 feet. The shuttle took almost four hours because of an extra stop at Huanglong Sport Center and local traffic jam. Anyway, I got PVG very early and relaxing at Air China lounge.

Edit: My PVG-SFO flight was cancelled due to mechanic problems. I will ask for original routing credit by taking a shorter one, PVG-ORD-YUL flight with lie-flat economy bench, instead of PVG-SFO-IAD-YUL. Got $200 ETC for my suffering.

Edit 2: Another FT passenger on the same PVG-SFO flight wrote to Customer Care and got $400 ETC. I got an amount to cover my OJ fare plus one-way ticket from Canada to US. My costs were an extra day on this trip and a night of hotel near YUL.
