I recently flew YYC-YVR-LAX. Asked AC to interline my bags to an LX flight leaving LAX.

Not a problem, done within minutes.

However, checked up on my luggage at LAX, LX told me the tags were not readable (?), retagged the bags and gave me new tags at the gate....
