Stay there relatively often - on a recent stay was upgraded to the Regent Suite which was very much appreciated but this isn't normal and platinum benefits are often still sparse on the ground. Won't be an issue on a weekend but be mindful of the construction site in front of the hotel and go for a room facing Collins Street or Flinder's Lane.

I'll be polite and say breakfast remains average. They do have a fresh juicer so that it is a slight improvement. One of the restaurant managers has worked at the Four Seasons Maldives and is very service oriented but doesn't have much to work with - weekends are the worse.
