SPG newbie here. Staying at my first Sheraton property right now since I joined the program. I signed up for the Explore More Promo, and also am doing the stay twice get a free night cert cat 1-5. Don't have their credit card. Quick question - will any room service charges (billed to room) also net me 2 starpoints per dollar? Or is the 2 starpoints per dollar only for the room rate and nothing else?

Firstly, welcome to the forum! Lots of good resources here.
You will get points for most services provided by the hotel itself. This usually includes paid upgrades, room service, restaurant (very rarely managed separately), bar spend (unless in a state where it's not allowed), spa (unless managed separately). Taxes are specifically excluded. Transfers are also almost always excluded.
