I think it cuts both ways. The FA's definitely try to give the high revenue generating travelers a good experience. I appreciate the little touches that go above simple professionalism. That said, I could see the FA's enabling bad behavior at times and have more than once experienced an over-served seat mate that became unpleasant. With all that said, the behavior we are talking about in this thread should never be tolerated from anyone. Like another poster stated, I was raised to be respectful and protective of women so this kind of behavior grinds me. I am glad some high profile abusers are getting outed publicly.
