I personally think that's one of the negatives to flying AS. Whenever I'm on AS (especially in C) I always feel like I'm missing out on someone's inside joke. I fly every week and never fly the same route every week, let alone every month. Flying on UA (this year well over 150 segments), I never see the same FAs. You never get this chummy "club" atmosphere in first. You get either solid respectful service or poor service - but everyone gets the same service. I think it cuts both ways. The FA's definitely try to give the high revenue generating travelers a good experience. I appreciate the little touches that go above simple professionalism. That said, I could see the FA's enabling bad behavior at times and have more than once experienced an over-served seat mate that became unpleasant. With all that said, the behavior we are talking about in this thread should never be tolerated from anyone. Like another poster stated, I was raised to be respectful and protective of women so this kind of behavior grinds me. I am glad some high profile abusers are getting outed publicly.
