My wife tried the verbal method without success-hence the gentle tap on the shoulder. Something, that frankly Im horrified that peole on here could consider close to an assault. But I guess that must be the world we live in nowadays.

Others around us were also affected. After we landed we heard one of his friends admit they were glad they weren't sitting next to him as they knew how bad his snoring was.
