What a stupid video. It is very Chinese-centric - most of the actual demos are done during the Mandarin narration. If a non-Chinese speaking first-time flyer watches it, it would be very hard to know what to do in an emergency. (I think > 50% of BR's passengers transit through TW so probably > 50% of the passengers do not speak Mandarin).
Even for first time Chinese-speaking flyers, it is hard with all the dancing. The Chinese voice is actually harder to understand (too low, too fast at times) than the English voice (I am fluent in both languages).
The bright side is they at least used the real seatbelt, oxygen mask and lifevest for the demo - not miming those things
Then what is the deal with that stiff FA's bowing? Am I on Asiana or ANA? No one in Taiwan bows like that - even their bowing in the early years, which many of us miss, were not this stiff.
