True, in practice it works pretty easily, but couldn't they have at least placed a sign for "international departures" or something similar? "Domestic connections" is clearly marked (even though they use the same departure hall), so I don't understand why they wouldn't make it clear where international passengers should go. Again I agree once you find the lift it's an easy process, but still.
