I'm not exempt from the possible disaster either as I have flights to LHR and back 12/18-12/29 so I might be on Laker too.

So the story is finally getting traction today on the major networks. AMR's ticker price seems unchanged as of now at least. From what i gather the cliffs notes version is there was an IT f'up that allowed 1000's of pilots to schedule vacation at the same time. Is this correct?
