In case you haven't noticed, all alliances are going downhill.

No one cares about frequent Y fliers anymore: you're either paying for J/F or you're not. There's a reason why Jetstar, Eurowings, LEVEL, Scoot, and all these new LCCs are not in any alliances despite being owned by a legacy airline.
