My husband is Gold, and I am a Member. In recent years, we have only flown United to help keep my husband Gold. We are cruising to Alaska round trip Vancouver and we’re kind of shocked to see United doesn’t have a non-stop from NYC area airports. We’re checking luggage and I really hate the idea of taking a NON non-stop only because I’m afraid of my luggage not making it. Air Canada is an airline partner (and has a non-stop), but I don’t know how to get PQM’s if I book through them. How do I do this? Or should I just fly a 1-stop on United? Or totally go with another airline if I don’t earn anything anyway? I don’t know much about Air Canada except I have to pay to select seats.
