Does anyone have any other strategies to maximize the number of rental credits earned during National car rentals of less than 8 day? Maybe some trick with returning to different locations or something else? For me I typically rent for 3-5 days at a time on work trips and don't hit 8 days to get 2 rentals .

A few options I have found work or read about on the forums so far.

• If I am sharing a car with a co-work, flip flop the rental between each other. For example, I rent a car on Monday. I return it on Tuesday and my co-work picks one up. Then my co-worker returns the car on Wen. and I pickup one up (cycle continues).
• Return a car just before midnight and pick up a new one just after midnight.
• When I use free rentals days and have 1 paid day I still get a credit.
