I also did not receive the RA upgrade on a paid reservation the last time I stayed here. I booked the Executive Deluxe level (RA upgrade is Jr. Suite), and was told the Jr. Suites are not available due to construction. They put me in one of the Premiere rooms with the bath/shower curtain.. yeah that did not go over well.
You have to speak to the manager on duty to get any compensation for this situation as their normal staff are not empowered to do anything. Hopefully this does not happen again as the new Club rooms are supposed to be available now.
This hotel does constantly violate the T&Cs, including the 8 am RA guaranteed check-in on a paid reservation. I think it's been two or three times now that they did not have a single room available in the entire hotel until after 11 am. So I had to wait in the club lounge or go do something else (early flight arrival). I didn't ask for compensation for that, but maybe I should have.
