Hi!
New member here. Just to let you all know Chase Sapphire Preferred Card Member Services added security measures on November 22nd, 2017.
This includes: text sent to phone with code to be entered at time of claim submission + physical signature on attestment form return for claim approval.
Text needs to be sent to US-based cell phone. Yet there is no trigger warning of this when contact details are entered earlier in the online claim submission, AND no mention on website that code is not sent to non-US cell phones, the message indicates "your codes is on it's way" or similar. I know this since I am not US-based.
Attestment form is either printed at submission, signed and emailed/snail-mailed back OR sent via snail mail.
This detail was all gathered from speaking with several card benefits services managers, since I can no longer submit my claims online.
The decisions were made by Chubb; underwriters.
