But definitely try the Twitter DM from the AA app feature as an EP. All EPs should use twitter to contact AA for these reasons-- a few examples above, and 100's of more out there of exceptional service provided via Twitter.

Realize this is an old thread but it's still linked to via AA wiki so thought I'd mention that this probably is not true anymore. As an industry standard AA *should* be proactively be matching Twitter accounts with "VIP level" customers and prioritizing responses based off that - plus lots of other things.

Assuming that they're still using radian6, or something similar, as their social listening platform they *should* be able to auto connect Twitter accounts and AAvantage accounts created with the same email address.

Not sure if it matter either way but worth assuming that AA knows a lot more about the average Twitter user and their relationship with AA than meets the eye.
