Well, the question was actually whether TG can see that the next LH segments are hand-baggage only. If the answer is yes, that's fine, and i'll have to find a workaround, I was just not sure the answer was yes. Based on your reply, i guess that you're not sure whether it's a yes, since you haven't tried to do it without sufficient bag allowance
Whether LH would notice that a passenger had checked-in luggage with TG, is another interesting question. Probably, it's not worth the risk.
