Isn't the £35 cancellation fee capped at the amount of taxes and charges paid? So if you paid £4.10 taxes and charges for a flight, but later cancel it, it's only the £4.10 you lose. Otherwise, you're pulling out your credit card to cancel a flight, which would be bizarre.
