i don't know if this would be of any use to you now but i just reserved a room for two nights nest week at the sheraton wall center for much less than the bevancouver offer was for. plus, i'll get points and night/stay credits and maybe some gold recognition.
the hotel has a "resident rate" valid for residents of bc, alberta, and washington, that is cancelable and includes free self parking! parking alone is well worth it. the rate i got was CAD140 per night plus taxes.
