A useful feature in FireFox for me was the saved passwords feature. When I try to use it now, my master password is not recognized. I don't remember changing it.

Have I lost it for ever by downloading 'new' FireFox? Is there a way of restoring it? Many thanks for your advice.
Many browsers these days seem to make you use your Windows password (or whatever the master password is for your machine, not the browser). Have you tried that?
