Note that most airlines worldwide don’t even offer gasper vents above seats on their long haul aircraft - it’s a distinctly American thing. I like them too, but even onboard Delta you’ll find some aircraft that were built for other airlines and then acquired used don’t have vents available. It’s unfortunate, but not the end of the world by any means...
