Does anyone know if BA add a currency conversion surcharge when they quote in a different currency to that of the departure country? For example, if AMS-LHR-BKK is originally prices in EUR, is there anything added on if the UK call center converts to GBP?
I've booked a few like this over the years and the BA xxx/GBP spot rate has usually been within a hair of what I could reasonably have expected from my credit card issuer...
