Just stayed here and found it quite nice. First of all, I really do like the Melrose Arch area of town -- just a lot of restaurants and bars within walking distance. The hotel itself is very modern -- I really like the decor especially the wood floors and exposed brick.

Unfortunately no breakfast as a Marriott Plat, but did receive a upgrade to a deluxe room and welcome amenity. Two bottles of water were in the room. Internet was fast, unlimited, and free.

Staff are very nice and try hard. Received a 2PM late checkout just for asking (they granted before I said my room number, so wasn't able to test late checkout because of being a plat).

EDIT: I forgot to mention there is unfortunately no gym here, but there is access to a full gym nearby (across the square) for 275 rand through a partnership.
