Thanks worldiswide. Doing the bus tour there and back from queenstown, I think it gets back after 7pm

in addition to checking dining options the day earlier that is a good idea to stock up some food items that can hold for 24 hours - just need to verify fridge is available.

it would be pretty ironic to travel so far from the US to end up having something like Domino's! Who knows that may be the easiest/best option that one day.

But seeing the sights (we are making several stops on South Island) is the priority and we are very keen to travel. Will have proper meals most other days anyways.
