I can't comment on ANA long-haul (have only flown ANA on a couple domestic flights years ago) but flew JAL long-haul in economy last summer with their "Skywider" seat and it was very roomy and comfortable for economy. Food and service were great, though I'd guess ANA's service is probably similar. Might also depend on flight times, price, and any mileage-earning preference.
