Could have been phantom then? In that case really glad I didn't transfer a bunch of UR points to try to book it.

I'm not super familiar with UA availability - for SFO-AKL any idea how likely it is for two seats to open? I imagine I'd have to book them one at a time, but big relationship conflict to end up with one Y and one J on that flight
