Looking for Advice: Exit Row vs Comfort+ on A330-200 HKG-SEA
Hi FT,
In January, I'm flying HKG-SEA with a friend on an A330-200, and I am wondering if I should go for the exit row or Comfort+. Both are available in the 2-seat section right now. I rarely fly DL international, and I do not think I have been on this plane before. I am 6'3" and usually my primary concern is legroom, although I am usually flying alone and the friend that I am travelling with doesn't have that concern. I know that there will be more legroom in the exit, but I am concerned about the lav crowds there (some on Seatguru have specifically noted that 4 lavs is not enough for all of coach). Also, I don't think I have been in Comfort+ on an international DL flight, is the service any different? It says on the website that I will get a better amenity kit and upgraded snacks, but I'm not sure what this means in practice. Also, the seat is supposed to have more recline. I have been spoiled on my last few Asia trips by AA where I have been able to upgrade using systemwides to business, although 2 years ago I took JL SFO-HND and was very comfortable in their 34" pitch economy seating. Any thoughts?
