In in terms of general advice to the OP, I would say don’t worry about the TPs here. Pick the best place to go at the best time of year and during a new moon phase to maximise your chances of seeing a good display. You may still have to rely on luck with the cloud cover but hopefully your guide can see where is best to take you to try and avoid it.
